Why Paulownia
Press?
The Paulownia tree
is native to East Asia and it produces beautiful, strong and reliable
wood that lasts and lasts. Because many of our books have aspects of
Japan and East Asia as their subject matter, and we aim to publish
books whose impact will last and last, we wanted to have a name that is
evocative of that region and those values.
Please take some
time to look around our site and, if there is anything we can do for
you as an author or reader, please get in touch right away!
What sets us apart?
- We believe in
publishing work that has a positive and lasting impact.
- We believe in
rewarding authors with a fair share of the proceeds from their work.
